Celebrating the beauty and design-forward nature of the urban environment, ourLA Manhole Cover Ball Mark is a little piece of the city you can take anywhere. The marker depicts one of the cover designs for the Los Angeles County Department of Public Works created by a localLong Beach foundry that has been making manholes since 1913. This is just one of many manhole cover designs that can be found - and are often unseen - throughout the city of angels .
Forged from high-quality mild steel, the marker has subtle shine and can look both matte or silvery depending on the light. Each is handmade by our second-generation blacksmith right here in Portland, OR USA.
